My Story
I’ve spent over 25 years in IT, and the last decade has been all about cybersecurity. What started as a curiosity about how systems worked quickly turned into a career focused on keeping them safe.
Along the way, I’ve earned a degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance, an MBA, and a handful of certifications (CISSP, CCSP, and more). But at the core, my work has always been about helping people and businesses protect what matters most — from stopping cyberattacks to building security programs that actually work in the real world.
Today, I lead information security at the director level, but this blog is where I share the lessons, stories, and insights I’ve picked up on the journey. My goal is simple: make cybersecurity easier to understand, more practical to apply, and maybe even a little more interesting to talk about.
